Manuka Mayhem: DraftStars Gold as Giants Host Roos

Sunday footy heads to the nation’s capital as the GWS Giants lock horns with North Melbourne at Manuka Oval. With the Giants boasting lethal forward firepower and the Roos packing a midfield full of prolific ball-winners, this single-game slate is an absolute goldmine for DraftStars coaches.

Our FootyBets.ai optimizer has been crunching the numbers, and a few undeniable locks have emerged to anchor your squads:

• Harry Sheezel (Projected 111.5 pts): The standout ceiling play of the slate, landing in 90% of our optimal builds. Expect "The Sheez" to do what he does best—accumulate 30+ disposals, dictate the pace, and mop up uncontested marks all over the park.
• Toby Greene (Projected 91.5 pts): Featured in every single optimal lineup. The Giants skipper loves putting on a show in Canberra and is primed for multiple goals, tackles inside 50, and dominant forward-half touches.
• Nicholas Madden (Projected 83.8 pts): Another 100% lock. Madden is set to feast in the ruck, racking up huge hit-out numbers and chipping in with vital clearance work around the stoppages.
• Jake Stringer (Projected 71.6 pts): "The Package" is looking dangerous in charcoal and orange. With 90% exposure, expect him to hit the scoreboard hard and gather points through his explosive forward-half bursts.
• Luke McDonald (Projected 72.0 pts): The veteran Roo is heavily featured as a defensive anchor. He’ll be tasked with rebounding out of defensive 50, guaranteeing a steady diet of kicks and intercept marks.

Position-by-Position Quick Tips: * RUC: Don't overthink it. Plug in big Nicholas Madden and throw away the key. * DEF: Luke McDonald provides your safest baseline of disposals, though a cheeky pivot to Griffin Logue could offer great point-of-difference upside. * MID: Stack the Roos! North’s engine room completely dominates the projections. Build around Sheezel, Luke Davies-Uniacke, and Jy Simpkin for elite tackle and disposal numbers. * FWD: It's all about the Giants' goal-kickers. Pair Toby Greene and Jake Stringer to capitalise on GWS's inside-50 dominance.
