FootyBets.aiCrows vs Dockers: Friday Night DraftStars Gold at Adelaide Oval
Friday night lights head to Adelaide Oval as the Crows host the Dockers in what promises to be a cracking contest. With both sides looking to make an early-season statement in 2026, expect a brutal contested battle in the middle and plenty of run-and-gun on the outside. It’s a daily fantasy dream with massive ceilings on offer for your DraftStars builds.
The FootyBets.ai Core: Who We’re Locking In
Our AI engine has crunched the numbers, and four players feature in every single one of our Top 10 optimal builds:
- Caleb Serong (MID): The absolute heartbeat of Freo's midfield. Projected for a massive 106.7 points, Serong is set to feast on the inside ball, racking up centre clearances, contested disposals, and crucial tackles.
- Josh Worrell (DEF): Anchoring 100% of our optimal lineups, Worrell (98.9 projected pts) is a fantasy lock. Look for him to pull down plenty of intercept marks and pad his stats with cheap kick-mark combos out of defensive 50.
- Sean Darcy (RUC): Set and forget the big Docker. Projected for nearly 70 points, he should dominate the hitouts and add serious value with his contested grabbing down the line.
- Jaeger O'Meara (MID): Featuring in every top build, Jaeger's defensive work rate and tackle count give him an incredibly safe floor to reach his projected 79.7 points.
Position-by-Position Quick Tips
- RUC: Don't overthink it. Sean Darcy is the unanimous choice to control the airways and rack up the hitout points.
- DEF: Stack the Adelaide half-back line. Josh Worrell is essential, but blending him with Max Michalanney or Wayne Milera offers immense rebound-50 upside.
- MID: The Dockers' engine room is where the points are. Pair Serong with Andrew Brayshaw to corner the disposal market, but consider throwing in Crows bull Sam Berry for elite tackle pressure.
- FWD: Target the Crows' attacking duo. Izak Rankine offers massive match-winning goal output, while Alex Neal-Bullen pushes high up the ground to collect easy disposals and forward-half tackles.
