FootyBets.aiQClash Carnage: Top DraftStars Targets for Lions vs Suns
It’s QClash warfare under the Saturday night lights at the Gabba, with state bragging rights and crucial finals positioning on the line. Expect a bruising, contested scrap between two stacked engine rooms on a fast track made for high-ceiling fantasy scoring.
Here are the key studs driving our AI's top builds this week:
The Core Targets
- Christian Petracca (MID, Suns): A flawless 10/10 appearance rate across optimal builds. Trac’s burst from stoppage, raking inside 50s, and knack for hitting the scoreboard give him an ultra-reliable scoring floor in Gold Coast colours.
- Matt Rowell (MID, Suns): Projected for a mammoth 118.3 points, the bull features in 9/10 lineups. Rowell thrives in fiery derby clashes where his elite clearance craft and relentless tackle pressure generate massive fantasy numbers.
- Lachie Neale (MID, Lions): Brisbane’s contested king features in 8/10 builds with a 117.2-point projection. Neale owns the Gabba deck, and another 30-plus disposal, high-clearance outing is well on the cards.
- Wil Powell (DEF, Suns): Selected in 90% of lineups, Powell is the premier distributor off half-back. His intercept marking and rebound drive will be heavily leaned on against a dangerous Brisbane attack.
- Joel Jeffrey (FWD, Suns): Dominating 9/10 lineups, Jeffrey brings sneaky upside with his aerial leap, forward-half pressure, and multi-goal potential.
Position-by-Position Quick Tips
- DEF: Wil Powell is the safest play for kick-ins and marks, with Bodhi Uwland (projected 86.4) offering elite coverage down back.
- MID: Pack your midfield with ceiling. Matt Rowell, Lachie Neale, and Will Ashcroft (projected 124.4) are the prime engine-room movers.
- RUC: Ethan Read appears in the majority of builds as a nimble option to handle ruck duties.
- FWD: Target goal sense and forward pressure with Joel Jeffrey and Lions powerhouse Cam Rayner.
