FootyBets.aiLions vs Power DFS Breakdown: Top DraftStars Value & Premium Locks for the Gabba Clash
Sunday afternoon footy at the Gabba promises absolute fireworks as the Brisbane Lions host Port Adelaide. With both sides playing an up-tempo style, expect a high-scoring contest packed with plenty of fantasy points up for grabs.
Our FootyBets.ai algorithm has run the numbers, and a few clear absolute locks have emerged for Sunday's slate:
- Noah Answerth (DEF | 10/10 lineups, 63.1 proj): Featured in every single optimal build, Answerth is the cornerstone of Sunday's slates. His defensive pressure, tackling floor, and intercept marks make him an essential piece to balance out your premium midfielders.
- Jase Burgoyne (MID | 9/10 lineups, 94.6 proj): The Port Adelaide youngster is putting together a phenomenal run. Running hard through the corridor, his transition work, uncontested marks, and high kick count give him a massive floor with close to 100-point upside.
- Jaspa Fletcher (DEF | 9/10 lineups, 80.5 proj): Fletcher thrives in the wide open spaces of the Gabba. Expect him to link up cleanly across half-back and wing, stacking up marks and uncontested possessions to easily beat his 80.5 projection.
- Lachie Neale (MID | 8/10 lineups, 117.6 proj): You simply can't leave out the big guns. Neale is an absolute ball-magnet at home, racking up clearances, contested possessions, and tackle points at will. He boasts the highest projected ceiling on the slate.
- Josh Dunkley (MID | 8/10 lineups, 106.3 proj): The ultimate tackles-and-disposals engine. Dunkley's work rate inside the contest guarantees a high fantasy floor regardless of how the game script plays out.
