FootyBets.aiWest Coast Goldmine: Your Saturday DraftStars Blueprint for Eagles vs Lions
The Brisbane Lions head west to face the rebuilding West Coast Eagles at Perth Stadium this Saturday. While the Lions are heavy favourites to take home the four points, DraftStars coaches have a massive opportunity to cash in on a fantasy goldmine. Expect Brisbane's high-powered engine room to dictate terms, while some gritty Eagles youngsters offer perfect lineup balance.
Here are the key players our FootyBets.ai engine is locked in on:
- Josh Dunkley (MID): Appearing in 100% of our optimal lineups, Dunkley is a fantasy cheat code. His relentless tackle pressure and contested ball-winning ability make his projected 104.3 points a rock-solid floor.
- Jaspa Fletcher (DEF): Another unanimous selection, Fletcher's intercept-marking ability and hard-running rebound out of the backline will exploit the wide expanses of Perth Stadium to easily beat his 84.6-point projection.
- Will Ashcroft (MID): With a massive projected ceiling of 118.2 points, Ashcroft is a certified captaincy option. He will feast on uncontested possessions and push forward to hit the scoreboard.
- Dayne Zorko (DEF): The veteran is still pulling the strings from half-back. Expect him to dominate kick-ins and rack up easy plus-sixes as the Lions transition out of defense.
Position-by-Position Quick Tips
- Ruck (RUC): Bailey J. Williams (WCE) is your go-to man. Appearing in 80% of optimal lineups, his dual-threat ability to win hit-outs and contest at ground level is vital against a tough Brisbane outfit.
