The Gold Coast Suns host the Western Bulldogs at People First Stadium this Sunday in what shapes up as a high-octane fantasy feast. With both midfields packed with elite contested beasts, expect a physical, high-tackling affair under the Queensland sun. For DraftStars players, this match is a goldmine of point-scoring potential if you build around the right core.
Our FootyBets.ai engine has crunched the numbers, and these are the heavily-favoured stars primed to fill your stat sheets:
- Ned Moyle (RUC | 10/10 lineups): A total lock-in for Sunday. Moyle is projected for a handy 83.6 points, set to dominate the hitout duels and chip in with crucial tackles around the stoppages.
- Matthew Kennedy & Tom Liberatore (MID | 10/10 lineups): This Bulldogs duo is DFS royalty. Kennedy (projected 97.0 pts) will feast on overhead marks and disposals, while Libba (projected 96.9 pts) is tipped to rack up clearances and double-digit tackles in the clinches.
- Matt Rowell (MID | 9/10 lineups): The Suns’ contested king is projected for a massive 105.3 points. Expect Rowell to do what he does best: hunt the footy, lay bone-jarring tackles, and feed his outside runners.
- Christian Petracca (FWD | 9/10 lineups): Now wearing Suns colours, Petracca’s dual-threat ability makes him a must-have forward. Tipped for 92.3 points, he’ll split his time between the midfield and inside 50, racking up disposals and hitting the scoreboard.
Quick Position Tips
- Ruck (RUC): Don't overthink it. Ned Moyle is the undisputed anchor of our optimal lineups.
- Defender (DEF): Jedd Busslinger is a locked-in value play for his intercept marking, but if you want offensive drive, Daniel Rioli’s run off half-back (projected 85.3 pts) is elite.
- Midfielder (MID): While Rowell is the safe bet, Ed Richards is the slate-breaker. He’s projected for a massive 111.4 points with his explosive line-breaking run.
- Forward (FWD): Christian Petracca is your premium anchor, while Rhylee West offers great value to help balance your squad.
