Marvel Mayhem: The DraftStars Locks You Need for Bombers vs Giants

Sunday afternoon football heads under the roof at Docklands as Essendon hosts the GWS Giants in what promises to be a fast-paced, high-scoring fantasy goldmine. With both sides desperate to cement their spot in the eight, expect fierce contests and massive individual fantasy outputs on the fast Marvel Stadium deck.

Our FootyBets.ai simulator has crunched the numbers, and these four superstars are locked into 100% of our optimal lineups:

• Archie Roberts (DEF | Proj: 108.0): The young Bomber is a must-have. Expect him to feast on uncontested chips and intercept marks as he orchestrates Essendon's transition out of the defensive half.
• Toby Greene (MID | Proj: 100.8): Named in the midfield for this clash, the GWS skipper is primed for a massive day. His ability to hit the scoreboard, win his own clearances, and lay defensive tackles gives him an incredibly high ceiling.
• Peter Wright (RUC | Proj: 97.8): "Two-Metre Peter" is set to dominate the air. He is projected to dominate the hit-out battle while clunking contested marks down the line and drifting forward for a goal or two.
• Sam Durham (MID | Proj: 97.7): A pure engine-room workhorse. Durham’s relentless tackling pressure and high-volume disposal rate make him the perfect set-and-forget option in the guts.

Position-by-Position Quick Tips

• Ruck: Peter Wright (ESS) is the undisputed priority. Don't overthink it—lock him in.
• Defender: While Archie Roberts is the chalk, look at Zach Merrett (ESS, Proj: 101.8). His elite ball-use off half-back provides top-tier safety.
• Midfielder: Harry Rowston (GWS, Proj: 71.2) is popping up in 9/10 optimal lineups. His clearance work represents elite point-per-dollar value to help you fit in the big dogs.
• Forward: Stephen Coniglio (GWS, Proj: 65.6) is a class above in the forward line. Appearing in 90% of optimal lineups, his midfield craftiness inside 50 is too good to pass up.
