FootyBets.aiMarvel Mayhem: Why North Melbourne is Your DraftStars Cheat Code This Sunday
Sunday afternoon footy at Docklands sees a classic Victorian clash as North Melbourne hosts Essendon on June 28, 2026. Under the roof, expect a fast-paced, high-possession affair that is absolutely ripe for DFS scoring. Our FootyBets.ai algorithm has crunched the data, and the numbers are heavily leaning toward a dominant Shinboner stack.
Here are the key players our AI is locking into almost every winning combination:
The Heavy Hitters
- Luke Parker (North Melbourne, DEF): Lock him in. Appearing in 100% of our optimal lineups, the veteran’s transition to the backline has been a DFS goldmine. Projected at 103.4 points, expect Parker to rack up intercept marks and cheap kick-ins all afternoon.
- Colby McKercher (North Melbourne, FWD): Boasting forward status but playing with midfield freedom, McKercher is a certified cheat code. Our AI has him in 10/10 lineups with an 84.0-point projection, fueled by his elite run-and-carry and uncontested disposal chain involvements.
- Nick Bryan (Essendon, RUC): The sole Bomber appearing in all 10 optimal lineups. At a projected 62.5 points, Bryan is the ultimate set-and-forget option to dominate the hitout duels and chip in with crucial tackles.
- Harry Sheezel (North Melbourne, MID): The ultimate ceiling play. Appearing in 8/10 lineups with a massive 120.7-point projection, "The Sheez" is a disposal vacuum who will slice the Bombers' defense apart.
Position-by-Position Quick Tips
- Ruck: Nick Bryan (Ess) is the consensus play, providing a sturdy point-scoring floor.
- Defender: Look no further than the blue-and-white wall of Luke Parker and Josh Goater (NM) to stack your defensive line.
- Midfielder: Build around Harry Sheezel (NM) for pure ceiling, but don't sleep on Will Setterfield (Ess) as a high-tackling counter-punch.
- Forward: Colby McKercher (NM) is non-negotiable, while Archie Perkins (Ess) offers great value to round out your attack.
