FootyBets.aiPower Outage or Eagle Flight? The DraftStars Locks You Need for Saturday's Clash
Port Adelaide flies west to face the West Coast Eagles at Perth Stadium this Saturday, and the fantasy stakes are massive. The Power will be hunting a crucial away win to solidify their top-eight standing, while a gutsy Eagles outfit loves nothing more than spoiling the party on their home deck. Expect a high-pressure, physical affair that promises plenty of DraftStars points.
Our FootyBets.ai algorithm has crunched the numbers, and these are the absolute must-haves dominating our top optimal lineups:
- Zak Butters (MID - 112.1 projected): Appearing in 10/10 lineups, the Power superstar is a non-negotiable. His ability to rack up 30+ disposals, gain territory, and sneak forward for a goal makes him the ultimate ceiling play.
- Jordon Sweet (RUC - 91.9 projected): Another perfect 10/10 feature. Sweet is primed to dominate the hitout battle, giving the Power first use while chipping in with tackles and around-the-ground contested marks.
- Rhett Bazzo (DEF - 55.1 projected): The AI loves Bazzo this week. With Port expected to pepper the goals, Bazzo will be under siege, meaning plenty of intercept marks and cheap kick-out duties to build a solid scoring floor.
- Elliot Yeo (FWD - 84.6 projected): Featured in 9/10 lineups, Yeo's forward-line eligibility is fantasy gold. His brutal tackling and clearance work when rotating through the middle will yield huge returns.
Position-by-Position Quick Tips
- Ruck: Jordon Sweet is your set-and-forget anchor in the engine room.
- Defender: Look to Liam Duggan (9/10 lineups) for reliable intercept possessions and rebounding drive off half-back.
- Midfielder: You can't overlook Zak Butters, but pair him with Willem Drew (7/10) for elite tackling pressure and pure consistency.
- Forward: Elliot Yeo is the top-tier target, but youngster Hamish Davis (7/10) offers fantastic value with his goal-kicking upside.
