FootyBets.aiDraftStars Dominance: Bulldogs vs Demons Sunday Showdown
The Sunday afternoon footy feast heads to Docklands as the Western Bulldogs clash with Melbourne under the roof. Expect a fast-paced, high-scoring contest on the pristine Marvel Stadium deck, making it an absolute goldmine for daily fantasy coaches looking to load up on midfield bulls and rebounding defenders.
Our FootyBets.ai supercomputer has crunched the numbers, and a few clear standout plays have emerged for your DraftStars builds. Here are the core guys dominating our optimal lineups:
- Max Heath (MELB) – Appearing in 100% of our top builds, Heath is primed to control the airways. He’ll rack up his projected 69.6 points through sheer volume of hit-outs to advantage and laying those gritty, around-the-ground tackles.
- Matthew Kennedy (WB) – Another absolute lock across the board. Thriving as an inside midfield bull for the Dogs, Kennedy is projected for a massive 93.4 points. Expect him to live at the bottom of the packs, vacuuming up contested disposals and clearances.
- Trent Rivers (MELB) – Rivers has cemented himself as a midfield ball-magnet. Projected to score 90.2 points, he’ll find plenty of the Sherrin in transition, racking up easy uncontested touches and driving the Dees inside 50.
- Bailey Dale (WB) – The Bulldogs' premier distributor is in 90% of our optimal lineups with a massive 99.8-point projection. On the fast Docklands deck, he’ll feast on uncontested marks and rack up those juicy +6s sweeping across half-back.
Position-by-Position Quick Tips:
- RUC: Don't overthink it—set and forget Max Heath. The volume is too good to ignore.
- DEF: Bailey Dale is your premium ceiling play, but Melbourne's Jake Lever is a rock-solid pivot to hoover up intercept marks.
- MID: Kennedy and Rivers are your anchors, but don't sleep on Jack Steele, whose elite tackling pressure gives him a massive floor.
- FWD: Arthur Jones is popping up in 80% of our lineups as a fantastic pressure forward who will score through forward-half tackles. If you want big grabs and snags, look no further than Aaron Naughton.
