FootyBets.aiFriday Night Frenzy: Dockers vs Saints DraftStars Masterclass
Friday night footy heads west as Fremantle hosts St Kilda under the bright lights of Perth Stadium. Expect a fierce, end-to-end battle on the wide expanses of Optus, creating the perfect storm for intercepting defenders and hard-running mids to stuff the stat sheet.
Our FootyBets.ai supercomputer has crunched the numbers, and a few clear favourites have emerged to anchor your DraftStars builds.
Rowan Marshall (St Kilda) is locked into 100% of our optimal lineups. The big Saint is a fantasy beast who doesn't just win hit-outs; he acts as an extra midfielder, racking up around-the-ground disposals, intercept marks, and crucial stoppage tackles.
In the engine room, Fremantle duo Corey Wagner and Matthew Johnson also boast a perfect 10/10 appearance rate. Expect Johnson to burrow in for the hardball gets and clearances, while Wagner provides elite linkage play and uncontested possessions on the outside.
Up forward, St Kilda's Charlie Banfield is an absolute staple in the top builds. His relentless forward-half pressure guarantees a high floor through tackles, while his nose for the big sticks provides massive scoring upside. Meanwhile, blockbuster Docker Shai Bolton features in 9 out of 10 lineups with a massive 90.7 projected points—expect him to break the lines, take grabs inside 50, and kick plenty of snags.
Position-by-Position Quick Tips
- RUC: You can't look past Rowan Marshall; he's the consensus alpha big man for this clash.
- DEF: Jordan Clark (95.6 pts) loves the wide wings of Perth Stadium for easy uncontested marks and rebound 50s. St Kilda’s Jack Sinclair (103.7 pts) is a phenomenal ceiling play off half-back.
- MID: Lock in Wagner and Johnson for Freo, but don't sleep on St Kilda's Bradley Hill finding plenty of the pill on the outside against his old mob.
- FWD: Shai Bolton brings the prime-time X-factor, while Banfield offers a bankable work rate and scoreboard impact.
