The Pies will be looking to control the footy on the wide expanses of their home turf, while the Crows bring plenty of run-and-gun firepower across the border. Expect a high-pressure contest with plenty of fantasy points up for grabs.
Our FootyBets.ai supercomputer has crunched the numbers, and a few clear favourites have emerged in our optimal builds. Here are the keys to dominating your DraftStars contests:
Darcy Cameron (Collingwood) Appearing in 100% of our optimal lineups, Cameron is an absolute lock. With his elite ability to clunk around-the-ground marks and dominate hit-outs, he’s projected for a massive 91.2 points and is the clear standout big man.
Scott Pendlebury (Collingwood) Death, taxes, and Pendles delivering at the 'G. Gifted forward status, the veteran still racks up silk-smooth disposals and sticks crucial tackles. He features in every single optimal build with a rock-solid 81.4 projected points.
Josh Daicos (Collingwood) Featuring in 9/10 lineups, the premier wingman is primed to run all day. Expect him to pile on the uncontested marks and rack up touches on the outside on his way to a match-high projected 93.9 points.
Alex Neal-Bullen (Adelaide Crows) The Crows recruit is already an AI favourite (10/10 lineups). His relentless forward-half pressure, tackling numbers, and work rate up the ground make him a high-floor accumulator.
Position-by-Position Quick Tips
- RUC: Set and forget. Darcy Cameron is the only big man you need to look at here.
- DEF: Rebound is king. Target Harry Perryman and Crows interceptor Josh Worrell to mop up and distribute out of the back half.
- MID: Lock in Josh Daicos for outside run, but don't ignore young Magpie Edward Allan, whose inside grunt makes him a 10/10 AI lock.
- FWD: Target guys who push up the ground. Pendlebury and Neal-Bullen are your non-negotiable anchors to rack up the cheap touches.
