Match Review

Port Adelaide dismantled Essendon in a one-sided affair at Adelaide Oval. Zak Butters was the chief architect out of the middle, breaking the lines at will and setting up his forwards repeatedly. Jason Horne-Francis provided the explosive power and finishing touch, kicking three goals in a dominant midfield-forward role. While Willem Drew was solid, Aliir Aliir's historic 19-mark defensive masterclass is impossible for the umpires to ignore in such a comprehensive victory.
