Match Review

The Swans controlled this contest largely thanks to Isaac Heeney's brilliance forward of center and Callum Mills' industrious work through the midfield. While Geelong had solid contributors like Joel Selwood, the Swans had too many avenues to goal. Heeney's five-goal haul makes him the obvious best on ground, while Mills was the premier ball-winner. Lance Franklin's four goals on a momentous occasion demand recognition despite a lower disposal count, edging out strong games from Errol Gulden and Chad Warner.
