St Kilda vs Hawthorn Brownlow Votes — Round 7 2021

St Kilda's 69-point victory invokes the Blowout Rule, ensuring all 3 votes go to the Saints. Zak Jones is the clear standout with 37 touches and 2 goals. The minor votes are a contest between Clark's impact (2 goals, 26 disp) and Crouch's volume (32 disp, 7 clearances); the visual impact of goals usually elevates players like Clark in the umpires' minds, though both are strong candidates ahead of Hawthorn's Tom Mitchell (38 disposals), whose efforts are negated by the heavy loss.
