Essendon vs Adelaide Crows Brownlow Votes — Round 17 2021

Essendon won by a blowout margin (63 points) while restricting Adelaide to a historically low score (21 points). Under the Blowout Rule, the winning team secures all votes. Merrett was the standout accumulator, Stringer provided the dynamic clearance work, and Redman controlled the air in defense. Adelaide's Rory Laird had volume (33 disposals) but in a 63-point loss with minimal team impact, he is unlikely to poll.
