Match Review

The match was a close Sydney win (9 points), meaning the 'Winning Bias' grants Parker the 3 votes as the best player on the winning side. However, St Kilda's midfield statistically dominated the contest, allowing Steele (elite all-round game) and Crouch (huge volume) to poll the minor votes. Tom Hickey was considered for his influence in the ruck but Crouch's 38 disposals provides a stronger statistical case for the umpires.
