Hawthorn's 51-point victory dictates a clean sweep of the votes. Tom Mitchell's 34 disposals in the shortened 2020 format is an elite performance that guarantees 3 votes. Jack Gunston's 4 goals and high mark tally secure the 2 votes. Liam Shiels takes the final vote for a high-possession game with a goal, holding off Gold Coast's David Swallow who fought hard (27 disposals) but suffered a heavy defeat.
