Match Review

Although the match ended in a draw, Essendon players completely dominated the statistics, boasting the top five possession winners on the ground. Merrett was in a class of his own with 30 touches in short quarters. Shiel and McGrath (26 disposals each) were far too prolific compared to Gold Coast's highest ball winner (18 disposals) to be ignored.
